About Me

Hi, I’m Dakota, the creative behind Dakota Designs – a studio where thoughtful design meets meaningful connection. I believe great design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about storytelling, empathy, and creating something that truly resonates.

With a background in graphic design and years of experience working across print and digital media, I’ve found my niche in crafting visuals that are not only beautiful but grounded in personality and purpose. From nonprofits to small businesses, I love helping mission-driven people bring their ideas to life in ways that feel fresh, approachable, and heartfelt.

My work is rooted in curiosity and creativity. Outside of design, I find inspiration in the stars (yes, I’m into astrology!), fantasy novels, painting, and wandering with my camera. These passions fuel my visual storytelling and keep my perspective balanced and imaginative.

Whether I’m building out a brand identity, laying out an editorial piece, or collaborating on a community-focused campaign, I bring a genuine love for detail, harmony, and the human touch.

Let’s create something beautiful together. 🌿

Creativity with Purpose

Design is more than visuals — it’s a form of communication. I aim to make work that is both meaningful and engaging.

My Values

Community-Driven

I believe in the power of design to uplift, connect, and serve communities. My projects often support local art, education, and nonprofit efforts.

Authenticity

Every brand and story is unique. I strive to reflect that individuality in all my work, never relying on templates or trends alone.

Curiosity

I approach every project with an open mind and a desire to learn — whether that’s about the people I’m designing for or the world around us.

Approachability

Good design should feel welcoming. I want clients and audiences alike to feel seen, heard, and comfortable engaging with what I create.
